President Robert Mugabe’s under pressure Zimbabwe has again failed to pay the military salaries on time.
Traditionally, the army is paid on the 14th of each month.
However, on Thursday there where no deposits, reports indicate.
Citing military sources, various reports say the military are still to be told when they would get it.
“The mood is sour among the rank and file. Life is tough and we are not being told by our superiors whether we will be paid this month or not,” one publication said.
One colonel said: “We have not been informed of new pay dates by the ministry of finance.”
In June, the military waited for two long weeks to be paid.
