THREE international casual dining restaurant chain outlets risk losing their operating licences after closing shop during Wednesday protests.
Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC), Nandos and Food Lovers Market as defying an official directive. It said government had warned businesses from taking part in the stay-aways.
“A handful of white-owned shops did not open for business in Harare.
Shops that did not open for business yesterday included Food Lovers Market, Nandos and KFC” said the Herald suggesting that the outlets are anti-government.
It added “Government gave such businesses a stern warning, saying they should surrender their licences if they did not want to operate in Zimbabwe”.
In recent days, Government has been accusing western embassies notable France for inciting protests.
