MT DARWIN-based preacher Brighton Chikomo of Bright Light Prophetic Ministries said he expects everyone in his church to drip oil from the hands when he is preaching.
Chikomo told the WeekendPost last week that it is a common phenomenon at his church for congregants to drip oil when he is ministering.
“Oil is a sign of wealth and when one is miraculously dripping oil from the hands, it means God is at work.
“Once you drip oil, then it is a sign that you are destined for success in life, hence whenever I minister I expect to see hundreds of worshippers dripping oil,” said Chikomo, who is also known as Major 1 as he claims popular Malawian preacher Shepherd Bushiri is his spiritual father.
Chikomo said some of the prophets operating in the country are fake and urged people to test all the prophets.
As a result, he is threatening to expose fake prophets operating in Harare as he is working on leaving his Mt Darwin base for the capital.
“My time shall come when I will name and shame fake prophets that are operating in Zimbabwe and I am ready for the consequences that will arise from naming those who are abusing the name of God through dubious miracles,” he told this publication in a previous interview.
Chikomo said his miracles are genuine as he received a prophetic call at a tender age of 13.
“Miracles that I perform are meant to uplift people’s way of living and to show God’s presence.
“God sent me to heal and deliver prophecy to his people as a result, I am doing this for free as God gave me the gift for free.
“I received a vision while working in South Africa that made me pack my bags to start a ministry in Mt Darwin which is fast-growing,” said Chikomo.
