A MAN from Epworth who tried to buy silence from his victim with two packets of jiggies appeared in court yesterday for br_east fo_ndling.
Sam Mabvuto,31 of Greenvalley in Epworth appeared before Magistrate Elijah Makomo to answer to charges of indecent assault.
The complainant is 42-year-old Monica Nyandoro who could not take the two packets of jiggies and went on to scream for help which alerted her daughter who came to her rescue.
Mabvuto was remanded t April 20 on free bail and was advised not to interfere with witnesses.Allegations facing Mabvuto are that on April 2 this year at around 9pm he met Nyandoro who had gone outside to relieve herself.
It is alleged that Mabvuto,who was coming from the bar,grabbed the complainant and begged to have se_xual intercourse with her but she refused.
Since she had refused Mabvuto started to fo_ndle the complainant’s br_east without her consent.The State represented by Idah Maromo heard Nyandoro wanted to cry for help but was slapped twice with open hands by Mabvuto.
It is alleged that the accused then ran to a nearby tuck-shop and purchased two packets of jiggies and gave them to the complainant so that she would not tell anyone.
Nyandoro is said to have refused to accept the jiggies but Mabvuto went on to put them in her t-shirt by force.It is alleged Nyandoro then screamed for help alerting her daughter Edith Nyandoro who came to her rescue.
A complaint was made with the police leading to his arrest.
